I've been a musician for 14 years and a dj for five years. I come from the punk/hardcore scene and I bring that energy to my DJ sets. I'm not one for for labels and limitations but I mostly play DnB, I'll throw in some dubstep or breaks if it sounds good. I've also been known to play a techno set or two for no good reason. Old skool raver....First turned my hand to mc ing in the early 90's always had an ear for mixing and hung round with lots of dj's and it was only a matter of time till i lernt the tricks of the trade. Started djing in bars and clubs 93/94 mixing an eclectic selection of dance,and still doing so! Some of the big gigs i've had a shot at were suport mc for the PRODIGY in 1994 at richardson hall Derby,guest dj on FM RADIO FREEDOM 1994,vines BAR 1994-2001,saddlers CLUB 1996-2001,warm up dj for the KISER CHIEFS 2002 at assembly rooms Derby,guest dj many times on KINDA FUNKY RADIO,and had my own show (FUNKYLISH FLAVA) on 107.5 DEMON FM,or www.demonfm.co.uk My style is a mash up of anything that is mixable or scratchable and i have a rare record collectin of about 3000 spaning over 2 decades I also make and produce my own tracks/remixs which are avalable on www.acidplanet.com and https://soundcloud.com/dj-durtee or check me out on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Durtee/539908109457096

;i love music have done since late 80s n 90s my favourite venue of all time was martha's nightclub swansea TICK TOCK promotions best club EVER bigup to dj lomas and R.I.P dj jez thank you for all those banging nights.. back in the day would also like to bigup TRANCE promotions stu,martin,gwion and greg and all of the other soundplanet crew.. the reason i call myself dj kwitz is when i was born being the fourth child, midwife asked my mum what are you going to call him........my mum replied after this one im calling it quits...when i was told this i was quite amused and it stuck.
